Dirk Schotz, CRA

Dirk has been a practicing real estate appraising with Biegel and Perra Appraisals for over 14 years while concurrently working as a real estate broker with Top Realty Inc. of Grande Prairie. Dirk’s career experience and completion of thousands of appraisal assignments during his time with Biegel and Perra Appraisals has left him well versed in all aspects of residential appraisal and capable of completing even the most challenging appraisal assignments in a timely and professional manor. During personal time Dirk enjoys spending time with his family and friends, camping or working on any number of projects in his wood shop.

Jacalyn Schultz, CRA

Jacalyn was born and raised in Grande Prairie and is a graduate with a specialized degree of Augustana University College in Camrose. Jacalyn started her career as an unlicensed real estate assistant and moved into the full time appraisal side of the business in 2007. She has been with Biegel & Perra Appraisals since 2009 and obtained her CRA designation in 2011. In her spare time Jacalyn enjoys cooking, gardening, reading and also volunteers with her church youth program. Helping clients meet their needs in the most satisfying part of her career and Jacalyn looks forward to a busy future in the Grande Prairie Region.

Christian Schotz, CRA, P.App, CPPA

Christian started working with Biegel & Perra Appraisals in 2005. He was born and raised in Grande Prairie. Christian has earned his Bachelor of Management with distinction from Athabasca University, and on March 6, 2018 earned his CRA, P.App designation. On November 7, 2021 Christian became an accredited CPPA designated appraiser with CPPAG - Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group.

James Brown, AACI, P.App, CPPA

Biegel & Perra Appraisals is excited to work in partnership with Jim Brown, the owner/founder of PropertyDNAGroup. Jim has more than twenty years of valuing and consulting experience across Western Canada appraising land, buildings and equipment. Jim has experience as a property assessor, commercial building inspections and reserve studies/depreciation reports. Jim and the team of specialist have provided both appraisal and consulting services to numerous businesses in different industries. We have prepared appraisal and consulting reports for numerous Assessment Appeal Boards, Alberta Infrastructure and Local and Provincial Boards.
